Simpli Dental Has Expanded To Calgary!

Simpli Dental is excited to open our third clinic in Western Canada! After launching our first two clinics in 2019, our team decided to expand and bring our low-priced dental services to Calgary. And what better way to do this than by having a local Calgarian own and operate it !?!?

Although we are expanding, our goal remains simple: we want to make dentistry as affordable as possible. In fact, our fees range from 10 to 50% less than those of the provincial suggested dental fee guides.

How do we do this? We try to operate our clinic in an intelligent, cost-effective manner and then pass those savings on to our patients.

Our founding dentist is Dr. Blake Mitchell, a 2014 graduate of the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. Following dental school, Dr. Mitchell practiced in Gravelbourg, Saskatoon, and Regina. He started Simpli Dental as he believes in viewing the way a dental clinic operates from outside the traditional box. In doing so, people can hopefully save money and Simpli Dental can be proud of offering a valuable service to the people in the community.

Simpli Dental is a general dental clinic. This means that we provide a wide variety of dental services. We do dental fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, veneers, root canals, clear aligner orthodontics, and many other procedures. Our dentists, dental hygienists and other team members help our patients achieve and maintain good oral health. We do not have any specialists at our clinic so when we deem it necessary, we will refer procedures out to other clinics.

We are located in the heart of the Bridgeland-Riverside Neighborhood, just across the street from McDougall Park. Bridgeland-Riverside dates back to the 1800s, and has had nicknames such as Germantown, Little Italy, and finally, Bridgeland-Riverside, named after the Dominion Bridge Company that operated nearby. Recognized as a “distinct bobo (bohemian/bourgeois) residential neighbourhood” by locals, Bridgeland-Riverside was ranked the third most walkable neighbourhood in Calgary. With colourful history, colourful people, and a booming neighborhood, we are excited to be a new member of this community. We have been here for a few months now but are finally getting settled into our new home so if you’re passing through, please stop in and say hello.
